| What to Do, Continued   From
Karen:   Pointing fingers
and externalising the call for change is all very well but change, like charity,
begins at home.
We could all start by using vinegar where we use bleach
and turning the tap off whilst we brush our teeth. Water knows no social or
international boundaries and it's our global heritage, so pull out the stopper
and buy that ecological washing up liquid.
If you don't feel confident that it'll clean the grease drop some vinegar
in the washing up water and see those dishes sparkle!

 Then, let's start
thinking about those dead animals on our plates. Did they have a good life?
Did they die in peace, with dignity? Yes folks, change begins at home and
if we don't agree with factory farming let's not eat the meat!

 Take the
time to plan your meals and think organic, support your local organic growers,
indeed join your local organic growers and plant a bucket of salad greens in a
window box. We can all do it; let's love our green planet.

 Buy products
fairly traded with distant lands; don't buy products that incur damage to our
planet. Remember, we're all in this together.

 Let's be respectful of
everyone, even people who aren't nice. Remember, we don't have to like our
neighbours to love them. The love that goes around comes around.

 When we
know that we're doing all we can personally EVERYTHING will soon begin to
change. The bigger picture is a composite of the little pictures and we are
the little pictures. Let us take responsibility for what we can; stand up and be
counted as conscious individuals!
